Since completing his first sculpture in 1980, Rick Jackson has participated in numerous art shows and sales, including the first airborne art show en route to China in 1986. Rick has been featured in numerous art shows and sales. More recently, he was awarded Best Sculpture at the Classic Art Show in Albuquerque, First in Sculpture at the George Phippin Memorial Art Show in Prescott, Best of Show at the Western Regional Art Show in Cheyenne, and Best of Show at the WRCA Art Show in Amarillo. Commissions include Texas Cattle Feeders Association; Cutter Animal Health; Bayer Corp.; Provenant Health Center in Denver; Southwestern Adventist College in Keene, Texas; City of Abilene, Texas; Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene; and Clark Gardens in Texas. Jackson has been commissioned numerous times to create monument sculptures for public and private organizations across the United States. |
